National Sports Day Celebration – 29th August 2025
Govt. College of Teacher Education, Tezpur, celebrated National Sports Day to commemorate the birth anniversary of hockey legend Major Dhyan Chand and promote sports, fitness, and well-being.
The programme included a welcome address by Mr. Biswajit Baglary, an inspiring speech by Principal Mr. Ajoy Kandulna, and a motivational video on Indian sports icons. A Poster Competition on “Digital Era vs. Physical Fitness” was the highlight, with prizes awarded to the winners.
The programme was successfully coordinated under the guidance of Mr. Biswajit Baglary, with enthusiastic participation from students and faculty.
